Session Description :

In order to achieve long-term sustainable urban mobility, European traffic management undergoes a range of complex paradigm shifts. From car-centric city planning to 15-minute cities, from car-centric traffic management to multimodal mobility management, and from road infrastructure management to integrating with energy infrastructure, logistics, drones and MaaS. The ERTICO TM 2.0 innovation platform has established the foundations in how public-private cooperation can be designed in cooperative and dynamic traffic management. The speakers will guide the audience in assessing the value of the TM2.0 concept in the context of environmental aware mobility management. How could TM2.0 be of use in collaboration with these ‘new’ domains?

William Meijer [Technolution] describes how the TM2.0 concept has led to an open ecosystem approach in integrating different domains

Johanna Tzanidaki [Ertico] discusses shift from car-centric traffic management to multimodal mobility management, and integration with energy infrastructure.

Kim Brochmann Møller [City of Copenhagen] discusses how paradigm shifts require rethinking mobility policy.

Matthias Mann [HERE Technologies] shares insights into road traffic induced emissions as input for environmental sensitive traffic management solutions.

Daniela Vasari [PluService] discusses the relevance of MaaS in urban areas for different user groups. How could MaaS influence user travel decisions and integrate with TM2.0
